Riverssance Festival of Fine Arts
Riverssance is known throughout the Midwest for its high quality fine art, beautiful outdoor setting and its unique blend of delightful entertainment and delicious food & wine.
Located on a scenic hill overlooking the Mississippi River in the historic Village of East Davenport, this 2-day festival features over 70 exhibiting artists, a children’s art activity tent, wine tasting, food vendors and live regional music. Awards are given to exhibiting artists in various categories and the prestigious Harley Award is given to an individual whose affected the arts and artists in the Quad Cities during their lifetime.
Enjoy live music, wine & beer tastings, artist-painted wine glasses, children’s activity tent and the area’s best food, all while shopping for your next artistic treasure.

The Indianola Summer Art Festival
The two-day art festival will take place in Indianola’s historic Buxton Park on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 from 10 AM - 4 PM. This is the start of the National Balloon Classic plus the fourth day of the Warren County Fair, so artists can expect Indianola to be bustling with tourists, balloons, music and food!
In addition to over 30 artists, visitors can enjoy live music entertainment from singers, flutists, and pianists, yard games, food trucks, and other activities.

Waukee Arts Festival
The Waukee Area Arts Council is pleased to present the 9th Annual Waukee Arts Festival on Friday, July 19th from 5pm-10pm and Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 10am-10pm in Centennial Park. The festival opens Friday night with a concert by Not Quite Brothers. Artist vendors will be open from 5pm-9pm. The festival reopens Saturday at 10am with artist vendors, day time music, food and beer trucks, and will conclude with our feature concert The Pork Tornadoes. Artist vendors will be open from 10am to 6pm.
Waukee Arts Festival

Captain Roy's Art Festival
CAPTAIN ROY’S will be hosting its first ever Art Festival! Come see all the local artists & their work + enjoy live music from the Crowfoot Rakes, drinks, and food all while enjoying the scenery right next to the Des Moines River!
Downtown Ames Art Walk
The annual Art Walk is a great event that showcases downtown businesses as well as community artists. Discover the artwork of dozens artists including painters, jewelry makers, photographers, woodworkers, potters, sculptors, musicians, and much more. Summer will demonstrating her live dual-handing painting at Great Harvest Bakery & Café located at 502 Burnett Ave!
2024 Ankeny Art Center Arts Festival
Join us for a fun-filled day of art, demonstrations, shopping, food, live music and more on May 11th, 2024! Events will take place along 3rd and Walnut Streets in historic Uptown Ankeny.
Albia Restoration Days Art Show
The Albia Restoration Days Art Show will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Monroe County Courthouse Lawn.
Des Moines Women’s Club 116th Annual Art Exhibition
The Des Moines Women’s Club will host their 116th Annual Art Exhibition which features a free exhibition for Central Iowa artists to display their work. Admittance for the public is free and some items will be available for purchase. Experience and enjoy an annual Des Moines tradition!
